Special Edition of Grey Matter
Six Feet Over: Shared Perspectives From The Time We Went Away
Six Feet Over was an idea from within the walls of Grey. It was a collection of almost 400 artifacts, images, objects and stories submitted by the folks of Grey NY. It was designed to introduce and reintroduce us to each other by spotlighting our individual journeys and the strange moment in history: the Covid pandemic through the lens of humanity and creativity. Together it creates a work of art that captures our lives since March of 2020 and shares perspectives of the time we went away.
I interviewed the participants, edited, and sound designed this special episode. Personally, this project was very special as it allowed me the opportunity to better understand the journey and struggles my colleagues went through during covid, struggles that I may have otherwise never known.
